Creating an Amazon account

About this task

Use this procedure to create an Amazon account if you do not have it. An Amazon account is required as the Avaya Alexa application has built-in support from Amazon Alexa Voice Service.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Amazon website at https://www.amazon.com/.
  2. In the menu bar, tap Accounts & Lists.
  3. Tap Create your Amazon account.
  4. Enter the credentials in the corresponding fields.
  5. Tap Create your Amazon account.
  6. If prompted, enter the characters displayed on the picture.
  7. In the Enter OTP field, enter the One Time Password sent to your email address.
  8. Tap Create your Amazon account.
  9. To secure your Amazon account, enter your mobile number and tap Add mobile number.
  10. In the Enter OTP field, enter the One Time Password sent to your mobile number, and tap Create your Amazon account.
