Use this procedure to start, log in, and set up the Avaya Alexa application for the first time.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have an existing Amazon account.
Procedure
Open the Avaya Alexa application.
Accept the License Agreement.
This one-time action is only required when you open Avaya Alexa for the first time.
When prompted, allow the Avaya Alexa application to record audio, make and manage calls, and access your contacts and calendar.

Tap Get Started.
You are automatically redirected to the Amazon page.
Log in using your Amazon account credentials.
You might receive a verification message or a One Time Password (OTP) on the mobile number linked to your Amazon account. Approve the request.
To pair your Avaya Vantage™ device with your Amazon account, tap Allow.
You are automatically redirected to the Home page of the Avaya Alexa application.
The application displays the Overdraw Permission Needed message.
Tap OK, select Avaya Alexa, and then allow it to display over other applications.
This one-time action is only required when you open Avaya Alexa for the first time.
The device displays the Application Installation Permission Needed message.
Tap OK, and allow the application to update itself automatically.
When you enable this permission, the Avaya Alexa application can check whether its version is below the minimum version required. If yes, the application updates automatically.

At the top left corner, tap the back arrow to return to the application's Home page.
