Configuring Session Manager

About this task

Use this procedure only if you have deployed Session Manager OVA using vSphere Web Client connected directly to the VMware host and Session Manager is not yet configured.

If you deployed the Session Manager OVA using vCenter or the Solution Deployment Manager, skip this procedure and continue to the post-deployment activities.

You are prompted for setup information during the first boot.

Procedure

  1. Verify that System Manager is configured and operational.
  2. Right-click the Session Manager virtual machine and select Open Console.
  3. Configure Session Manager:
    1. At each prompt, enter the appropriate information from the Customer Configuration Data worksheet.
    2. Verify your settings.
    3. Enter the enrollment password.

      The system starts the configuration process. The process takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
