Removing a snapshot through CLI

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Session Manager command-line interface.
  2. Type the following command:

    vmsnapshot remove <Name of the snapshot to remove>

    For example, vmsnapshot remove testsnapshot1

    Session Manager displays the following message:

    This will permanently remove snapshot '<testsnapshot1>' from this virtual machine. Do you want to continue (y/n)?

  3. At the prompt, type y.

    Session Manager removes the snapshot and displays the following message:

    Snapshot: <testsnapshot1> successfully removed
