Prolog information
Prior to Communication Manager 8.0, Communication Manager kept CPU occupancy values in four bands:
  • Static
  • call processing
  • system management
  • Idle
Starting in Communication Manager 8.0, Communication Manager only keeps one CPU occupancy number. This new number is roughly equivalent to the previous "Static" occupancy plus the previous "CP" occupancy.
Occupancy is displayed different on six SAT screens:
  • List measurements summary
  • List measurements occupancy last-hour
  • List measurements occupancy summary
  • List measurements occupancy busiest-intervals
  • Status health
  • Monitor health

List measurements summary

Only the "OCCUPANCY MEASUREMENTS" section is affected. "Static Occupancy" and "SM Occupancy" rows aare removed, and the row for "CP Occupancy" is renamed to "Occupancy". Occupancy is now displayed to two decimal points. The new Occupancy number is roughly equivalent to the previous Static Occupancy plus the previous CP Occupancy.
