Avaya J169 IP Phone does not support the Bluetooth feature.

Bluetooth headset is connected.
Default headset

Default Bluetooth headset.
unpaired headset

Unpaired Bluetooth headset.
Bluetooth Headset connected J189

For Avaya J189 IP Phone

Bluetooth headset is connected.
Bluetooth Headset is disconnected

Bluetooth headset is disconnected, but headset is paired.
