Creating a SIP server media interface

Use this procedure to create a media interface to support SIP media to and from the SIP call server for the Avaya SBC. This interface groups an IP address and network interface with a range of UDP ports that will be used for SIP media.
  1. On the EMS web interface, in the navigation pane, click SBC.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Network & FlowsMedia Interface.
    STEP RESULT:
    The EMS server displays the Media Interface page.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the Name field, enter sip_server1.
  5. In the IP address field, enter 192.168.1.10 and the VLAN interface created in the earlier section.
  6. Click Finish.
