Installing a non-seed node to Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway

Prolog information
Before you begin
Ensure the following:
  • The seed node installation is complete.
  • Hybrid Cloud Gateway (HCG) cluster virtual IP is configured on the seed node.
  • Note the System Manager Enrollment Password.
  1. Open the Linux shell using the administrator account credentials.
  2. To start the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway installation, run the following command:
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    app install
    STEP RESULT:
    You can view the installation screen.
    Note:
    Do not resize the screen or the SSH console.
  3. On prompt, type y and press Enter to continue with the installation.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    To cancel the installation, type n and press Enter.
  4. On the Initial Installation Configuration screen, select Cluster Configuration.
  5. On the Clustering screen, set the Initial cluster node to No.
  6. On the Clustering screen, type the IP address in Cluster seed node.
  7. Select Return to Main Menu.
  8. Click Enter.
  9. On the Initial Installation Configuration screen, select Front-end-host, System Manager and Certificate Configuration.
  10. Click Enter.
  11. On the Front-end-host, System Manager and Certificate Configuration screen, set the following values:
    1. In the System Manager FQDN field, type the FQDN of Avaya Aura® System Manager, which signs the certificates for Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway services.
    2. In the System Manager HTTPS Port field, ensure that the value is set to 443.
    3. In the System Manager Enrollment Password field, type the System Manager enrollment password.
    4. In the Use System Manager for Certificates field, ensure that the value is set to y.
    5. In the Keystore password field, ensure that the default password is already set.
  12. Select Return to Main Menu.
  13. Click Enter.
  14. On the Configuration Summary screen, select Accept and Continue.
  15. Click Enter.
  16. On the Results of Configuration Checks screen, select Continue.
  17. Click Enter.
  18. On the End User License Agreement screen, select Accept.
  19. Click Enter.
    STEP RESULT:
    You can view the progress of tasks on the Running Installation Script screen. The system installs the required RPMs, downloads certificates from System Manager, creates database schema, and performs the required initial configuration.
    You can view the Results of Installation Script screen after a successful installation.
  20. On the Running Installation Script screen, select Continue.
  21. Click Enter.
  22. Optional: You can skip the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway Configuration Utility for Other Node installation.
  23. Click Continue.
  24. On the Main Menu screen, click Yes to start Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.
  25. On the Results of "svc CSA restart" command screen, click Continue.
    STEP RESULT:
    The Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway installation process is complete.
