erase terminal

Use erase terminal to erase local data items from 2410 Release 2 and 2420 Release 4 DCP telephones. A system administrator can use erase terminal to reassign a telephone without having a technician erase the data manually. Erase terminal fails if the extension is busy on a call or on a local task.
erase terminal deletes:
  • call logs
  • speed dial lists
  • button labels
  • user option settings
  • language
