To integrate Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity with the Avaya Aura® environment, perform the following tasks:

Ensure that the required Avaya Aura® components are deployed.

On the Configuration Server web portal, configure a SIP server for call routing to Session Manager.
For more information about adding SIP servers, see the network configuration section in Administering Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
Specify the Session Manager details in the SIP server configuration.

On the Configuration Server web portal, configure a dial plan for calls over the AAAP link.
For more information about adding dial plans, see the dial plan configuration section in Administering Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
  • In Call Type, select local.
  • In the Destination SIP Server(s) section, in SIP Server, select the SIP server that you configured for call routing to Session Manager.

On the Configuration Server web portal, configure Avaya Aura® endpoints.
For more information about adding endpoints, see the endpoint configuration section in Administering Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
  • The AAAP endpoints must be registered to Communication Manager.
  • The endpoint extension must match the extension of the SIP endpoint registered to Communication Manager.
  • In Agent Phone, select Agent UC Phone.

On the Configuration Server web portal, configure the agent profile settings.

Session Manager configuration

On the System Manager web console, configure an adaptation.
For more information about adaptation configuration, see the Session Manager routing section in Administering Avaya Aura® Session Manager.

On the System Manager web console, configure a SIP entity link to Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity.
For more information about SIP entity link configuration, see the Session Manager routing section in Administering Avaya Aura® Session Manager.
  • In FQDN or IP address, specify the IP address of the Routing Core Server.
  • In Type, select SIP Trunk.
  • In Adaptation, select the configured adaptation.

On the System Manager web console, configure a SIP entity link to Communication Manager.
For more information about SIP entity link configuration, see the Session Manager routing section in Administering Avaya Aura® Session Manager.

On the System Manager web console, configure routing policy for calls to Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
For more information about routing policy configuration, see the Session Manager routing section in Administering Avaya Aura® Session Manager.

On the System Manager web console, configure dial patterns for incoming calls.
For more information about dial pattern configuration, see the Session Manager routing section in Administering Avaya Aura® Session Manager.
  • To configure a dial pattern for calls from Avaya Contact Center – Extended Capacity, in the Originating Locations and Routing Policies section, specify the routing policy for calls to Communication Manager.
Communication Manager configuration

On Communication Manager, configure class of restrictions (CORs).
For more information about configuring CORs, see Administering Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
On page 2 of the Class of Restriction screen, set Auto-Answer Media Link Calls? to y.

On Communication Manager, configure signaling groups.
For more information about configuring signaling groups, see the manage telephones section in Administering Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
  • On the SIP signaling group screen, set Direct IP-IP Audio Connections to y.
  • Set Initial IP-IP Direct Media to y.

On Communication Manager, configure SIP trunks.
For more information about configuring SIP trunks, see the managing trunks section in Administering Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
  • Configure SIP trunks for connection to Session Manager.
  • Configure SIP trunks for connection to Routing Core Server.
  • Ensure that you configure the required number of SIP trunks for connection to Routing Core Server to handle all SIP agents configured on Communication Manager.

On Communication Manager, configure Avaya Aura® endpoints.
For more information about configuring endpoints, see the manage telephones section in Administering Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
  • Set the station type to J169, J179, or AvyaSIP.
  • Assign the configured COR.
  • Register Avaya Aura® endpoints to Session Manager through the TLS link.
