How do I verify if connection between geo-redundant clusters is successfully established?

The easiest way to verify connection between the clusters is to create a context in one cluster and then retrieve it from the other cluster.

  1. Create a context on Cluster A.

  2. Retrieve the context from Cluster A (to verify it was created successfully)

  3. Retrieve the context from Cluster B (to verify it was replicated to the other cluster successfully)

  4. Create a context on Cluster B (to verify replication is working in both directions).

  5. Retrieve the context from Cluster B.

  6. Retrieve the context from Cluster A.

Additionally, you can identify the Grid Services Container (GSC) in each cluster which is hosting the Gateway service used for geo redundancy replication by searching for the term GEO-Gateway-Service. In that file (in each cluster) you can then easily find the state changes for the Gateway link between the two clusters: Connection delegator: moved to state: CONNECTED/ DISCONNECTED.
