Adding a new Okta application for each Avaya Breeze® platform node

Create an Okta application for every Avaya Breeze® platform node in your cluster. Repeat this task for every node.
Before you begin
  1. Log in to Okta.
  2. Create an application in Okta for the Breeze node.
    1. On the Okta menu, click Applications Applications, then click Create App Integration.
    2. On the Create a new app integration page, select SAML 2.0 and click Next.
    3. On the Create SAML Integration page, in App name enter the Avaya Breeze® platform SIP Entity FQDN or IP and click Next.
  3. On the Create SAML Integration page, do the following in the General section.
    1. Download the SP metadata XML file from the Avaya Breeze® platform node using the following URL.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: https://<my.breeze.sip.entity.fqdn.or.ip>:9443/services/AuthorizationService/spmetadata
    2. Open the downloaded metadata XML file and record the values for:
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      • EntityDescriptor entityID
      • AssertionConsumerService Location
  4. On the Create SAML Integration page, enter the following in the Configure section.
    1. In Single Sign on URL, enter the AssertionConsumerService Location value.
    2. In Audience URI (SP Entity ID), enter the EntityDescriptor entityID value.
    3. In Name ID Format, select Transient.
    4. In Application username, select Email.
  5. Scroll down to the Attribute Statements (optional) section and enter the following.
    1. For Name, enter email.
    2. For Value, enter user.email.
  6. Scroll down and click Next.
  7. On the next Create SAML Integration page, select I’m a software vendor. I’d like to integrate my app with Okta and click Finish.
