Creating an application and application sequence

This procedure:
  • Administers a target Avaya Breeze® platform instance as an application.
  • Administers the application as part of an application sequence. This only needs to be done once for each Avaya Breeze® platform instance.

  1. Administer the target Avaya Breeze® platform instance as an application:
    1. On System Manager, click Elements Session Manager Application Configuration Applications.
    2. Click New.
    3. In the Name field, type a descriptive name for the Avaya Breeze® platform instance.
    4. For the SIP Entity, select the Avaya Breeze® platform where the service resides.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    5. To save your changes, click Commit.
  2. Administer the application as part of an application sequence:
    1. On System Manager, click Elements Session Manager Application Configuration Application Sequences.
    2. Click New.
    3. In the Name field, type a descriptive name for the application sequence.
    4. In the list of Available Applications click the + sign next to the Avaya Breeze® platformapplication that you created.
    5. To prevent calls from failing when Avaya Breeze® platform is not available, deselect the Mandatory check box if it is selected.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      Session Manager stops processing a call if it cannot reach a mandatory application.
    6. To save your application sequence, click Commit.
