Starting the Media Manager service

About this task

Use this procedure to check that the Media Manager service has been started.

On a client computer, browse to https://<IP address of the server>:7071 in the browser.
Enter the User Name and Password for the administrator account and click Login.
Click Show Optional Services.
Check that the check box next to Media Manager is selected. This instructs the service to restart the service each time it is restarted.
Click the Start button next to Media Manager.
Wait until the button shows Stop, indicating that the Media Manager service to has started.

Having started the service, it can now be configured to collect and store recordings. See Configuring Media Manager.
