Open File

Open a previous saved monitor log file, see Opening a Log File. Can also be used to open a Syslog file that has been produced by a system. See Converting Syslog Files. |
Save Screen Log As
|
Save the current monitor log to a text file. See Saving the Screen Log as a Log File. |
Rollover Log
|
Force the current log file to rollover. Monitor adds the date and time to the log file name and then starts a new log file. See Manually Rolling Over the Log File. |
Stop Logging
|
Stop logging to a file. See Stopping File Logging. |
Start Logging
|
Start logging to a file. See Starting File Logging. |
Text Log Files
|
This icon indicates that monitor is currently set to text or binary file logging. Clicking the icon changes the mode and forces a rollover of the current log file. See Switching Between Binary and Text Logging. |
Binary Log Files

Clear Display
|
Clear the current log shown in the display. |
Run Screen Display
|
Show the live monitor log in the display. |
Freeze Screen Logging
|
Pause the live monitor log in the display. This does not stop the logging to file. |
Reconnect
|
Connect to the system specified in the Select Unit options. See Reconnecting to the monitored system. |
Trace Options
|
Set the filter options for what should be included in the logs. |
Log Preferences
|
Set the format and destination for the monitor log file. |
