Running updates and scans on demand

Perform the following procedure to initiate on demand updates and/or scans.

Procedure

  1. Log in to a Linux® shell using the customer account.
  2. To run an antivirus database update, type the following command: 
    avScan -updateNow
  3. To run a system scan, type the following command: 
    avScan -scanNow
