Disabling FIPS 140-2 Mode

About this task

Perform the following procedure to disable FIPS 140-2 mode on the Linux® operating system.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to EM > System Configuration > Network Settings > General Settings.
  2. Click Connection Security in the shortcut bar.
  3. To disable FIPS 140-2 mode, clear the Enable FIPS checkbox.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Log in to a Linux® shell using the customer account.
  6. To restart the system and apply the change, type the following command:
    reboot
