Customizing the password complexity configuration

Perform this procedure to customize the system configuration profile.

Procedure

  1. Log in to a Linux® shell using the root or sroot account.
  2. To set the current directory to the public directory, type the following command:

    cdpub

  3. Copy the existing profile to the current directory by typing the following command: cp /opt/avaya/etc/default-sys-config.conf ./custom-sys-config.conf
  4. Edit the custom configuration file, setting the properties to the values required by your application.
    Important:

    Only edit the property values in the configuration files and ensure that the new values are valid for the file and property that you are updating. Unsupported values can cause unexpected system behavior.
