Use the following process to check the phone's current IP address and firmware level.
On the phone's display, press Settings and then Status.
The menu displays key information:
The IP Address is used to access the phone's admin menus in a web browser.
If the Software Version is lower then 1.0.8.3.2, the phone should be upgraded, see Manually upgrading the B199 firmware. Otherwise, press the < icon to exit the menus and proceed to configuring the phone.
