Generic installation process

This section details the simplest installation method. This method is suitable for customer sites that do not have a separate DHCP server. This simple installation processes assumes:

IP Office
The IP Office system is the SIP registrar.
DHCP Server
IP Office
The IP Office system acts as the DHCP server. To use a separate DHCP, see Alternate DHCP server setup.
File Server
IP Office
The IP Office acts as the file server for IP telephones. It auto-generates the necessary settings and upgrade files for Avaya IP phones. To use a separate file server, see File (Provisioning) server settings.
TLS Certificates
IP Office
If TLS is enabled, the IP Office system's own default identity certificate is used. For additional options, see Security Certificates.
