Personal Profile Manager

Personal Profile Manager (PPM) is a part of the Avaya Aura® Session Manager platform in the Avaya Aura® environment.

It maintains and manages the personal information of the end-user in the session manager. SIP endpoints communicate with PPM to:

  • Retrieve configuration information such as dial plans, buttons, and contact lists

  • Add or update contacts

  • Save device-specific data

To secure the communication between Avaya J100 Series IP Phones and PPM, set the parameter CONFIG_SERVER_SECURE_MODE to 1.
