Upgrading Standalone Omnidatabase

Before you begin

Do the following:

  • Take a backup of the Omnichannel database. See Taking a backup of the Omnichannel database.

  • Download the latest version of the Omnichannel server software on the Omnichannel server. You can download the latest version of the Omnichannel server software from http://support.avaya.com. The format of the file is OCEANA_x.x.xxx.iso.

Procedure

Log on to the Omnichannel standby server, do the following:
  1. Right-click the OCEANA_x.x.xxx.iso.
  2. Click Mount.
  3. Run AvayaReleasePackInstaller.exe.
  4. If the installer prompts for server restart, click Yes and repeat step (a) though step (c).
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Accept on license agreement.
  7. Click Restart.
