Feature Access Code (FAC) enables you to quickly access features such as Intercom or Paging without needing to remember numeric codes. These short keys appear either as soft keys at the bottom of your phone display or as dedicated line keys as favorites on your main phone screen.

Depending on how your administrator configures the feature, it will function in either of the following two ways:

1. If the FAC is tied to a destination extension:

   • Pressing the FAC line key or FAC soft key will dial the feature code followed by the extension.

   • The phone initiates the call automatically.

2. If the FAC is a general feature that requires a recipient:

   • Pressing the FAC line key or FAC soft key opens a prompt on your screen.

   • The status line displays the custom label of your shortcut (for example, Intercom or Page Group) instead of the system code, confirming what feature you are about to trigger.
