Location

Enter a name for the location.

Time Zone

Select a time zone for the location.

CM Location

Enter the Communication Manager location.

Communication Manager supports up to 2000 locations. The Communication Manager location of an endpoint determines its dial plan, which determines how regular and emergency calls are routed. The Communication Manager location controls the time zone when an endpoint makes a call that is controlled by a vector. For example, an auto-attendant call or a call routed to a Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud agent.

For more information on Avaya Enterprise Cloud™ locations, see Preconfigured Avaya Enterprise Cloud locations.

Tenant Partition Number

Enter the tenant partition number. Enter any integer value from 1 to 250.

The tenant partition number is applicable only if you have multiple music on hold entries.

You cannot add a new tenant using System Admin. Open a support ticket to add a new tenant.

Home Location

Enter the home location value, also known as the Session Manager location value, for outgoing call handling.

Communication Manager supports 2000 network regions (NR). The Communication Manager NR of an endpoint determines the codec set from which an endpoint can select a codec set.

Session Manager supports unlimited locations and communicates in ways similar to a Communication Manager NR. Assign a home location to each endpoint.

Avaya Enterprise Cloud™ is preconfigured with a fixed set of home locations and Communication Manager NRs. In Avaya Enterprise Cloud™, the default home locations include the Communication Manager NR in their names.

Distribute office users between NR 1601 and 1701 to balance the load between Microsoft Azure (AZ) availability zones.
