Embedded Voicemail is intended for small customer sites with only basic voicemail requirements. It is suitable for environments like retail or home office, where space, noise or cost considerations rule out using a PC for voicemail.

Embedded Voicemail is supported by all IP Office modes except where the system is being used as an expansion system for a primary server (in which scenario the primary provides voicemail support).

Embedded Voicemail does not require any licenses for operation, though licenses can be used to increase the number of simultaneous voicemail connections and the amount of message storage available.

Whilst Embedded Voicemail supports recording caller messages for unanswered calls, it does not support call recording of connect calls.
