Adding a new message element

Prolog information
You can add a new message element for an empty or existing message. Each message can contain multiple message elements with text or audio.
  1. Locate the required flow and click the Edit icon.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the Messages tab.
  3. Locate the required message name and do one of the following:
    • Click the Add icon if the message does not have any message elements.
    • Click the Edit icon if the message has at least one message element.
    STEP RESULT:
    Automation displays a message editing area.
  4. To add a new message element, in the message editing area, click the Add icon.
  5. In the drop-down list, click the required message content:
    • For Chat and Messaging channel: Text.
    • For Voice channel: Audio or Text To Speech Constant.
  6. For an audio element, do the following:
    1. In Upload audio, drag a media file to add an audio or browse to the file location on your computer and click the Save icon.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      The audio file format must be WAV, 8 or 16 bits, 8 kHz, mono. The maximum file size is 2 MB.
    2. Enable Force audio playback and click the Save icon.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      If the user responds quickly, this option forces the Automation to play back the complete audio file before switching to the next question.
  7. For a text, in Add text, type the text and click the Save icon.
  8. For a TTS element, in Add Text To Speech, do the following:
    1. Type the text.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      Text format must correspond to the format of the tag that you select.
    2. In Interpret text as, select one of the tags.
      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
      One message element can contain only one tag.
    3. In Format, configure the format for the selected tag, if required.
    4. Click the Save icon.
Result
Automation displays the created message element in the message editing area.
