Use the following table to understand the Orchestration defined user privileges for managing workflows:

Role: Business Analyst

Role: Administrator

You can

In Orchestration Manager:

  • Create, modify, import, or export workflow drafts

  • Deploy or undeploy non read-only workflows and associate rules with them

  • Create, modify, or remove non read-only routing rules

  • Create, modify, or remove non read-only events in the event catalog

  • Create, modify, or remove non read-only global variables

In Orchestration Manager: All the tasks that an analyst can do.

In Designer:

  • Save workflow

  • Export or import workflow

  • Duplicate workflows

  • Read-only access to properties of administrator tasks

  • Read-only access to advanced properties of tasks

  • Modify properties of non-administrator tasks

  • Add or remove non-administrator tasks for independent workflow

  • Add or remove edges between non-administrator tasks for independent workflows

  • Create, modify, or remove interrupting events in independent workflows

In Designer:

  • Save workflow

  • Export or import workflow

  • Duplicate workflows

  • Read and write access to properties of administrator tasks

  • Read and write access to advanced properties of tasks

  • Add or remove administrator tasks for all workflows

  • Modify properties of all tasks

  • Add or remove edges between all tasks for all workflows

  • Create, modify, or remove interrupting events in all workflows
