Mandatory prerequisites

Before deploying Preview Dialing for Avaya Experience Platform™, ensure that you have the following knowledge and configuration items.

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Avaya Experience Platform™ administration and configuration.

  • Familiarity with Proactive Outreach administration and configuration.

Configuration items that must be in place

  • An instance of Proactive Outreach.

  • An instance of Avaya Experience Platform™ that supports a voice channel with the ability to receive inbound calls.

During the configuration steps described here, you must create a Proactive Outreach campaign. For more information about creating campaigns, see Configuring Proactive Outreach for Avaya Experience Platform™. For the integration of Proactive Outreach and Avaya Experience Platform™, the queue to which you assign the campaign is essential for correct routing. In Proactive Outreach, you cannot create a campaign without assigning a queue. You can create a campaign beforehand and assign a temporary queue and then edit the campaign to assign the Avaya Experience Platform™ queue when you create it.
