Copying permission mapping for a role

Keywords:
  1. On the System Manager web console, click UsersGroups & Roles.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Roles.
  3. On the Roles page, select a role and click Edit.
  4. On the Role Details page, click the Element/Service Permissions tab.
  5. Click Copy All From.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The system displays the Permission Mapping page.
  6. In the Copy From Role field, select a role.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The system displays all child roles of the parent of this role and all child roles of this role.
    Note:
    Using the Copy From Role option, you cannot copy permissions from the System Administrator role.
  7. Click Copy.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The system displays the Role Details page
  8. Click Commit.
    STEP RESULT:
    The system displays the Roles page where you can view the details of the role.
