Prolog information
Using System Manager, you can import or export dial patterns, origination dial pattern sets, origination dial pattern, routing policies, regular expressions, entity links, and SIP entities in bulk. To import data in bulk, you must provide an XML or zip file containing multiple XML files as an input file. System Manager validates any file that you upload during the bulk import operation.
The Origination Dial Patterns xml import file uses a name reference to the Origination Dial Pattern Sets. Therefore, you must import Origination Dial Pattern Sets before importing Origination Dial Patterns.
Use the following rules when creating an XML bulk import file:
  • <notes>
  • <name>
Example<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<digitmapOriginationSetFullTOList>
    <DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
        <notes>91997412</notes>
        <name>91997412</name>
    </DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
    <DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
        <notes></notes>
        <name>aaaaaaaaaaaaaa</name>
    </DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
    <DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
        <notes></notes>
        <name>ccccccc</name>
    </DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>

        <notes></notes>
        <name>nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn</name>
    </DigitmapOriginationSetFullTO>
</digitmapOriginationSetFullTOList>
If the Flexible Routing feature is disabled, and the user tries to import Origination dial pattern sets, the system displays the following error:
<!-- Origination Pattern Sets cannot be imported, as Flexible Routing feature is disabled -->
