Placing a call on hold

About this task

You can place a call on hold if you need to quickly gather information or discuss an issue with your supervisor or another agent.

Before you begin

Ensure that you responded to a voice interaction.

Procedure

  1. Click the Hold icon to place the call on hold.

    A timer is displayed to indicate the duration of the hold.

  2. Click the Unhold icon to resume the call.
