The Branch Gateway requires software configuration. The Branch Gateway can be configured by using the Avaya Branch Gateway Command Line Interface (CLI). The CLI is a comprehensive tool for configuring the gateway and includes all supported configuration tasks. The Branch Gateway can be accessed:
At the customer site through a laptop connected to the Services (SVCS) port of the Branch Gateway.
Remotely through the network. For information about preparing a newly installed Branch Gateway for configuration through the network, see Configuring basic Branch Gateway connectivity.
From a remote location through a modem.
