Emailing a report

About this task

You can send a report to any email address.

Before you begin

Based on your requirements, ensure that you have the following privileges:

  • Email any report.

  • Send a report to the history list.

  • Send a link to the location of a report in the history list through an email.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.
  2. Click Historical Reporting.
  3. On the Home page, in the navigation pane, click Shared Reports.
  4. In the content pane, click Standard Historical Reports.
  5. Click Reports.
  6. For the reports based on interval data, do the following:
    1. Click Interval.
    2. Click the report.
    3. In the parameter fields, specify the parameter values.
  7. For the reports based on daily roll-up data, do the following:
    1. Click Daily.
    2. Click the report.
    3. In the parameter fields, specify the parameter values.
  8. For the reports based on monthly roll-up data, do the following:
    1. Click Monthly.
    2. Click the report.
    3. In the parameter fields, specify the parameter values.
  9. Click Run Report.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the report summary page based on the values specified in the input prompts.

  10. On the report, click the Send Now icon.
  11. To locate the email address of the recipient, click To.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud displays the list of recipients from your address list.

  12. Select the email address where you want to send the report.
  13. Click OK.
  14. In the Send field, select one of the following options to specify how to send the report:
    • Date and Time prompt: The email displays the report.

    • Data in email and to history list: The email displays the report and is also delivered to the History List page.

    • Data and link to history list in email: The email displays the report, along with a link to the History List page.

    • Link to history list in email: The email includes a link to the History List page.

  15. In the Delivery Format field, select one of the following formats to send the report:
    • PDF: To deliver the report in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

    • Excel: To deliver the report in Microsoft Excel format.

    • Plain Text: To deliver the report in Rich Text Format.

    • CSV: To deliver the report in a Comma Separated Values file.

  16. In the Subject field, type a description for the report.
  17. In the Message field, type the message to be emailed along with the report.
  18. To include the report in a zip file, do the following:
    1. Expand Advanced Options.
    2. Select the Password Protect Zip File check box to protect the zip file by providing a password.
    3. Type a password for the zip file.
    4. In the Zip File Name field, type the name for the zip file.
  19. Click OK.

    Analytics for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud sends the report to the specified email address.
