Configuring attributes

About this task

To use the attribute-related information that Google Dialogflow agents collect in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud, match parameter names from Google Dialogflow agents with Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud attributes in an Automation virtual agent.

Before you begin

  • Create a Google Dialogflow agent to collect attribute-related information.

  • Ensure that you configured appropriate parameters in the Google Dialogflow agent.

  • Ensure that attributes are configured in Application Center Administration.

Procedure

  1. In the Virtual Agents view, locate the required virtual agent and click the Edit icon.
  2. Click the Store Context tab.
  3. Click the Attributes subtab.
  4. To add a new attribute, click the Add icon.

    Automation shows the Attributes window.

  5. In the Intent field, type the parameter name from Google Dialogflow.
  6. In the Attribute field, type the attribute configured in Application Center Administration.

    Automation sends the collected attributes as the key values to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

  7. To save the changes, click the Save icon.

    Automation shows the attribute in the list of attributes you configured.

  8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 for all Google Dialogflow parameters to which you link attributes.
  9. To save the virtual agent, click one of the following:
    • Save Draft: To save the virtual agent as a draft.

    • Save Version: To save the virtual agent as a version.
