Enroll devices with or without an enrollment code. Enrollment without an enrollment code is called zero-touch provisioning. For enrollment with an enrollment code, you can use an 8-digit or 12-digit enrollment code. If the device user enters the wrong enrollment code more than three times, then the device will be deactivated. You must reactivate the device before it can be enrolled. For zero-touch provisioning, you must:
Claim devices
Associate the devices with a customer site.
Activate the devices for enrollment.

Service provider, reseller, or customer |
To use an enrollment code, see Enrollment codes. For zero-touch provisioning, see:
Claiming a device.
Associating a device with a customer site.
Activating or deactivating a device.
To manage devices in bulk, see Claiming, activating, associating, disassociating, or releasing devices in bulk. |
