Purge schedule

Based on your role, you can view or configure purge to run at a specific time. POM deletes files from the POM system and data from the POM database when purge executes at the configured time.

Following is deleted as part of the purge process:

  • Files related to contact list import, export, DNC import, and splitter files.

  • Database entries related to import, campaign, and agent data.

Purge Schedules page now displays the last executed date and time for all the different types of purges.

Note:

Purge is not allowed to execute, when POM runs on high load..

Database reindexing

Database reindexing helps to rebuild the indexes of the POM database. Indexes are required to be rebuilt periodically according to the Avaya recommended ideal frequency. Database reindexing improves the overall performance of POM.

Note:

Reindexing is best performed during maintenance hours and should never be done during business hours to ensure the POM system stability.
