Cause

This alarm event is created when the threshold value exceeds the value given in the Load Factor Alarms Threshold (80 - 150) field on the Global Settings page.

Solution

Procedure

Evaluate the load factor status reporting on the Session Manager Load Factor page or the recorded load factor performance given on the Load Factor Performance page. Do one of the following:

  • If service is not degraded and operation is nominal, increase the load factor alarm threshold value on the Global Settings page.

  • If service is impacted then perform either one or more of the following remedies:

    • Re-administer the communication policy for the users on the Manage Users page.

    • Modify the Session Manager assignments within a region on the Session Manager Groups page.

    • Administer additional Session Managers in the network.
