SSH access to Branch Session Manager

Last Updated : May 31, 2024 |

By default, the Avaya WebSocket Tunnel (AWTUN) enables SSH access from System Manager to Branch Session Manager. To tunnel the connection from System Manager to edge Branch Session Manager, you can use the loopback IP address or the FQDN of Branch Session Manager. Use the command displayLoopback.sh to obtain the loopback IP address. The port of the tunneled connection from System Manager and Branch Session Manager is 4022. For the loopback IP addresses, the port 22 is redirected to 4022.

Use the command sshTunnel.sh in Branch Session Manager to enable or disable SSH access.

Note:

Disabling SSH access causes the AWTUN services to restart. During restart, the active tunneled connections are dropped and reestablished.
