Viewing trace logs

About this task

Use this procedure to view trace logs. You can set filters to display trace logs within a certain time range. Due to the filter options, SIP Tracer displays trace records multiple times.

Procedure

  1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Session Manager  > System Tools > SIP Trace Viewer.
  2. To filter trace logs for a range of hours or days, click Filter and enter the date, time, time zone information in the From and To areas.

    Using this filter criteria, the SIP Tracer displays only the logs with a time stamp between the From and To values.

  3. Select one or more Session Manager instances for which you wish to see the trace logs.
  4. Click Commit to generate the trace output.
