Profile settings

Whilst using the console, you can rearrange the windows displayed and other settings such as the console language. When you logout, you will be prompted to save any changes as a profile.
In addition, your system administrator can create a set of default templates.
The Profiles setting on the login menu allows you to select and reapply the settings of a default or previously saved profile.

Telephony options

The following describes the check boxes in the Telephony section.

Description
Call waiting
When selected, the system provides a call waiting tone when you are on a call and another incoming call arrives. When you end the current call, the new call is immediately presented to you. This option is ignored if you have multiple call appearances on your telephone.
Off-hook station
When selected, this option enables receptions to use the hands-free features on their telephones. The console controls the operation of the telephone. You should only deselect this option if you have an analog telephone where you answer or end calls using the handset.
Show templates
When selected, the default console templates are included in the list of profiles.
