HTTP/HTTPS proxy exclusion list

Prolog information
You can configure a proxy exclusion list for HTTP and HTTPS. Use the proxy exclusion list to define domains, or IP addresses where outgoing HTTP requests go directly to the destination address without first going through a proxy.
For Avaya Breeze® platform, the following HTTP traffic must not go through a proxy:
  • Traffic between Avaya Breeze® platform and System Manager,
  • Traffic between two or more Avaya Breeze® platform nodes
  • Traffic between Avaya Breeze® platform and any other Avaya Aura® server.
To add a proxy exclusion list for outgoing HTTP(S) requests, use either the OVA template during the OVA install process or the CLI CEnetSetup command. See Updating the Avaya Breeze platform configuration using CEnetSetup.
By default, the proxy exclusion list displays the detected local subnet configuration and the local network domain if administered through the CEnetSetup command. The inclusion of the local subnet on the proxy exclusion list enables the cluster data grid to bypass the routing of internal communications through a configured proxy server.
The HTTP proxy exclusion list supports both domains and IP addresses as well as wild cards. Entries in the exclusion list are separated by a | character. An example of a proxy exclusion list is 10.134.34.0/24|*.wf.aura.com.
