Collecting logs using the Avaya Breeze® platform report tool

Use the Avaya Breeze® platform report tool to collect logs, configuration data, and system statistics data. You can customize the logs to include:
  • Specific number of days of data to collect.
  • Specific types of data.
  • List of files
  1. Log in to the Avaya Breeze® platform console as a cust user.
  2. Run the ce-report command.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Use the following options to customize the log:
    • -d: Includes latest Java core files and WAS memory heap data.
    • -p: Includes the performance data.
    • -n: Generates logs at normal priority. By default, the report tool collects the logs at a lower priority. If you collect logs at a normal priority, the system performance might be impacted. Use this option only during scheduled maintenance times.
      -c: Specifies the number of days to collect logs. The default value is 7 days.
    • -l: Includes the list of open files. This option might considerably increase the size of the log.
    • -b: Includes the Avaya Breeze® platform database.
    • -s: Includes the snap-in service logs.
    • -g: Includes data grid logs.
Result
Avaya Breeze® platformgenerates the output file containing logs, configuration data, and system statistics.
