Updating the Avaya Breeze® platform configuration using CEnetSetup

After you deploy Avaya Breeze® platform, if you want to change the default configuration values, use the CEnetSetup command.
If your Avaya Breeze® platform server is not registered in the DNS, and if you modify the host name or IP address, you must update the System Manager /etc/hosts file with the appropriate information.
Important:
Before you change the Avaya Breeze® platform host name or IP address using CEnetSetup or before you re-deploy the Avaya Breeze® platform OVA, you must remove the targeted Avaya Breeze® platform node from the cluster. For information about deploying the OVA or changing the Avaya Breeze® platform host name and IP address, see Deploying Avaya Breeze® platform.
Before you begin
Connect to the host server or vCenter using the vSphere client or the vSphere web-based client.
Before you proceed with the configuration, verify each entry.
  1. Open the vSphere client in the hierarchy view.
  2. Select the Avaya Breeze® platform server and click the Console tab in the tab view.
  3. Log in to the Avaya Breeze® platform server using your credentials.
  4. Type the CEnetSetup command.
  5. On the console, enter the IP Configuration details.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Enter the Avaya Breeze® platform server host name, Avaya Breeze® platform management IP address, netmask, gateway IP address, and network domain if applicable.
  6. For the DNS configuration, enter the secondary and tertiary DNS if applicable.
  7. If HTTP proxy configuration is required, enter y and then provide the HTTP proxy IP address, host name, and port details.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Otherwise, if HTTP proxy configuration is not required, enter n.
  8. If you do not want to use the same details for the HTTPS configuration, enter the HTTPS proxy, IP address, host name, and port details.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    You can configure a proxy exclusion list for HTTP and HTTPS.
  9. Configure the timezone and day and time details.
  10. When the system prompts you to disable NTP, enter No.
  11. Enter the NTP server details.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Enter the secondary and tertiary NTP server details if applicable.
  12. Confirm the configuration details in the Summary page before you continue.
  13. When prompted, create a customer account and password.
  14. Enter the primary System Manager IP address.
  15. If the System Manager is unreachable, enter the following information when prompted:
    1. If the System Manager is set up with geographic redundancy, enter Y.
    2. Enter the FQDN of the primary System Manager.
    3. Enter the IP address of the secondary System Manager, if applicable.
    4. Enter the FQDN of the secondary System Manager, if applicable.
    5. Enter the FQDN of the virtual System Manager.
  16. Verify your settings.
  17. Enter the enrollment password.
    STEP RESULT:
    The configuration script runs automatically. The configuration takes about 10 minutes to complete. If required, the system performs an automatic reboot.
