Condition

The license file has insufficient capacity. The debug.log file displays the following error message: VALUE_CE_SERVER license acquired failed, so <Avaya Breeze_NAME> has gone to ERROR MODE due to insufficient license.

Cause

Your license file supports fewer Avaya Breeze® platform servers than what you have installed.

Solution

  1. In System Manager, click Services Licenses.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Collaboration EnvironmentView License Capacity.
  3. Check the value in the VALUE_CE_SERVER field.
  4. Click Elements Avaya Breeze.
  5. On the Server Administration page, check the number of servers that are administered.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The value in the VALUE_CE_SERVER field must be greater than or equal to the number of Avaya Breeze® platform servers administered.
If the license quantity is less than the number of Avaya Breeze® platform servers, you must either increase the license capacity, or you must delete the Avaya Breeze® platform servers above the license limit.
    Note:
It is not mandatory to delete the Avaya Breeze® platform server with the license error. For example, if you have a license for one Avaya Breeze® platform server, and you have two servers administered, one of the Avaya Breeze® platform servers has the license error. You can delete either of the servers. The remaining Avaya Breeze® platform server gets the single server license and the license capacity error is cleared.
  6. To purchase additional Avaya Breeze® platform licenses, contact an Avaya sales representative or an authorized Avaya reseller.
