Viewing the Avaya Breeze® platform traceMessage results

traceMessage saves the trace message results at /var/log/Avaya/trace.
You can view the trace results live during capture or view the saved file offline by using traceMessage.
Before you begin
Capture messages using Avaya Breeze® platform traceMessage.
  1. Using PuTTY, start an SSH session with Avaya Breeze® platform.
  2. Run the traceMessage <output file path and file name> command.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    For example, use the following command syntax to view specific traceMessage results of:
    • SIP messages: traceMessage /var/log/Avaya/trace/tracer_asset.log
    • SIP messages and Media Server HTTP messages: traceMessage /var/log/Avaya/trace/tracer_asset.log /var/log/Avaya/trace/mediaServer_http.log
Result
traceMessage displays the output file containing the traced messages.
