release dhcp

Releases a DHCP lease for an interface. This effectively releases the client IP address on the specified interface.

If you are releasing a dynamic IP address with DNS information (DNS servers list), the DNS information is removed as well, and the DNS Resolver application does not use it.

release dhcp interface-type interface-identifier
