Phone reports provide critical information during troubleshooting. The phones can optionally include the provisioning server configuration files in the report when the following conditions are true:
LOG_LEVEL is set to DEBUG
LOG_CATEGORY includes HTTP
ENABLE_GDPR is disabled
All the passwords and pin values are masked in the report.
You can also use the web UI or SSH to generate phone reports.
Before you begin
Ensure that the Administration password is set to a non-default value.
Press Main Menu.
Scroll to Administration and press Select.
Scroll to Debug and press Select.
Scroll to Phone report and press on Generate soft key.
STEP RESULT:
The phone displays Storing phone report locally on the phone was successful.
