Configure DHCP Site Specific Option Number (SSON) for phones that use DHCP addressing. The phone uses SSON to obtain phone-specific information when requesting address settings from a DHCP server. The phone SSON must match a similar DHCP server option that defines the phone settings.
Caution:
Do not use SSON for the phones configured with static addressing.
Press Main MenuAdministration.
In the Access code field, enter the administration menu password.
Press Enter.
Select SSON.
In the SSON field, enter the new SSON.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The number must be between 128-254. The phone SSON must match the DHCP server option.
