You can access the Administration menu to configure the phone parameters before a user logs on. The Admin soft key is available on the phone UI during the reboot and on the login screen.
Before you begin
Ensure you configure the following parameters:
PROCSTAT: To use the phone administration menu, set the parameter to zero.
PROCPSWD or ADMIN_PASSWORD: The default administration password is 27238. You must change the default password during initial installation.
Press the Admin soft key.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
For Avaya J129 phones, the Admin soft key is available on the UI. For other Avaya J100 phones, press More > Admin.
On the Access code screen, enter the administration menu password.
