If the server is operational, do a CMSADM backup as shown in . If the server is not operational, you must use the most recent CMS backup available for the recovery procedure.
Important:
If you have to use an old backup for recovery, any administrative changes made on the CMS server since the backup was made are lost and must be re-administered after you recover the system.
